Physical Theatre Actors tend to be actors first, dancers second.There is a much bigger focus on emotion, more so than aesthetics. I am training with Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre company and the majority of actors are just that, actors, who have dabbled with the art of dance.Physical Theatre is also an umbrella for alternative theatre, it is physical art, it can be rich in meaning, logically, symbolically or metaphorically.But quite often, we are meant to draw our own meaning from it all. |
